Programs at Colorado Law

Colorado Law has three academic centers, nine clinics, multiple experiential learning opportunities, journals, and students groups that all need donor support. Please consider directing your support to one of them.

Centers

Our three research provide opportunites for Colorado Law's faculty and students to contribute to our widely recognized intellectual diversity and originality.

Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law

The Byron White Center was founded in 1990 through the generous bequest of Colorado Law alumnus, Ira C. Rothgerber, Jr. ('35). Since then, the Center has supported excellence in constitutional legal scholarship, offered opportunities for Colorado Law students to serve the community, and expanded public knowledge and informed discussion about the Constitution.

Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment

The Getches-Wilkinson Center, named for two iconic figures in Colorado Law's environmental law history David Getches and Charles Wilkinson, was created in 2013 to build upon the long-standing legacy of Colorado University's Natural Resources Law Center, while pursuing a more ambitious goal of research and innovative problem-solving in the areas of natural resources, energy and the environment.

Silicon Flatirons Center for Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship

Silicon Flatirons propels the future of technology policy and innovation through initiatives, events, and publications we develop the professionals who are ready to lead what鈥檚 next in law, technology and entrepreneurship.

Clinics

By handling actual cases, students make the transition from legal theory to legal practice. We take pride in the fact that our clinics provide free legal services to many community members who could not otherwise hire an attorney. Whether you make a gift to support Colorado Law's clinical programs as a whole or support some of our clinics individually, your support has immense impact on our ability to offer these opportunities.
