Student Opportunities
Numerous opportunities exist for students to get involved with the Mountain Research Station.Ìý The station hosts upper division, undergraduate field courses designed to give students hands-on experience and training in advanced research techniques.Ìý The courses have low enrollment to provide students with extensive individual attention.Ìý
The station was the site of a National Science Foundation sponsored Research Experiences for Undergraduates program for over a decade and we will soon be reapplying for this funding.
In addition, courses from the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· campus and other universities use the station for instruction in environmental science at the K-12, undergraduate, and graduate levels.
