Graduation Processing
About Graduation Processing
The Office of the Registrar receives student graduation data from campus representatives, called graduation coordinators, and uses this information to build the commencement program, post degrees and order diplomas.
Graduation Coordinators
Each college, school or program has one or more graduation coordinators who serve as primary contacts for submitting graduation information to the Office of the Registrar. Submitted data includes:
- Graduation confirmed/honors lists.
- Candidate lists for the commencement program (ROTC, Education).
- Outstanding graduates for the commencement program.
- Thesis titles (Graduate School).
The Office of the Registrar schedules a meeting with the graduation coordinators at the end of each graduation cycle to discuss policies and practices and to implement and share new ideas.
