Grants & Protocols

Congruency matters! When you submit a protocol application, you will be asked to also submit the grant that will fund your animal research. NIH, NSF, DoD and other funding agencies require verification that the IACUC has approved all proposed animal care and use procedures before they will fund research proposal applications. Therefore, the IACUC compares your grant with the protocol application to ensure all procedures in the grant are listed in the protocol.

In the near future, we will provide you with more information on this webpage to help you understand the requirements related to grant and protocol comparison.

Contact the IACUC office if you have any questions.
