Our team conducts its research on real human waste. ÌýSourcing of raw materials (a.k.a. poop) is a fundamental component of the resarch project. Our tireless team patronized public bathrooms, recruited at race port-a-potties, petitioned atÌýpark latrines, and solicited engineering studentsÌýall in the name of science in their search for poop and fecal sludge.Ìý

In total,Ìýover 75 donorsÌýprovided us with over 100 kg. of poop. ÌýThe Sol-Char team would like to thank everyone for their generous donations that made our research possible! ÌýAll-star donors received custom "I gave a crap for science" paraphenalia.Ìý
