Colorado Gives Day: Plan your giving for 2016 with the CCC

Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. The Colorado Combined Campaign is designed to provide you ease of giving through online pledging and mont hly payroll deduction. Combine the two this Tuesday, Dec. 8, and you can give to more than 600 Colorado-based nonprofits all throughout 2016. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· the CCC website and you are sure to find a program that touches your heart.

Robert Davis to step down in 2017 as dean of the CU-Boulder College of Engineering

University of Colorado Boulder Provost Russell L. Moore today announced that Robert H. Davis, dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science, will step down as dean and return to the chemical and biological engineering faculty effective on or about June 30, 2017. Moore plans to launch a targeted national search for the next dean in January 2016.

AVC for Strategic Media Relations leaving CU-Boulder

CU-Boulder Vice Chancellor for Strategic Relations Frances Draper announced Wednesday that Bronson Hilliard, assistant vice chancellor for Strategic Media Relations, will be leaving CU-Boulder on Dec. 16 to accept a position as senior associate with the Denver-based consulting firm GBSM.

Please take care of yourself in this push to the end of the semester and finals – get some sleep, eat well, exercise and drink plenty of water – and, if you need additional support, please contact one of our many campus resources to get the help you need.

Longtime CU-Boulder professor wins prestigious Grawemeyer Award

University of Colorado Boulder scientist Steven Maier, who discovered a brain mechanism that not only produces resilience to trauma but aids in coping with future adversity, has won the 2016 University of Louisville Grawemeyer Award for Psychology. The award is among the most prestigious in the field of psychology and comes with a no-strings-attached $100,000 prize.

New HR Resources, CU Careers debut Thursday with HCM rollout

This Thursday, Dec. 3, the new Human Capital Management (HCM) system will debut and human resources functions in MyCUInfo, like Leave, Pay Stub, and Benefits Snapshot, will have a brand new look and feel.
