Data collected by the city of Boulder's transportation division shows that nearly half of all collisions within the city occur at intersections, and that crosswalks are the most common locations for collisions between motor vehicles and bicyclists or pedestrians.

Emergency Management and OIT have partnered up to release Alertus, a client installed on computers that issues a pop-up alert when there is an emergency on campus. The notification is only released to those on the campus network, and is in addition to text message and email notifications.
