The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full time, postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study at the . The Rhodes Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship, with the purpose of developing public-spirited leaders, and to promote international understanding and peace through an international community of Scholars.

  • Campus deadline: August 15
  • Final deadline: Early October each year, endorsed students only
  • °Õ±ð°ù³¾:ÌýTypically two years.
  • Amount of support: The Rhodes Scholarship covers Oxford University course fees, as well as providing an annual living stipend. Please note - this is not sufficient to cover partners or dependents.
  • Number of Scholarships: 32 (for U.S. citizens)

  • U.S. or national citizen
  • You must be aged 18-23 at the application deadline; see website for further details.
  • An applicant must receive a bachelor’s degree before the proposed study at Oxford begins.
  • GPA of 3.7 or higher is required.

Application Procedures

´¡±è±è±ô¾±³¦²¹²Ô³Ù²õÌýmust be endorsed by an institution where they will have completed two years of full-time undergraduate study and received a bachelor’s degree. There will be a competitive selection process to select CU’s candidates and candidates must meet the campus deadline.  All applications are completed online, including a short essay.  This application requires five to eight letters of recommendation.Â
